Luccombe Hall Country House Hotel is stunningly located just outside the popular Shanklin Old Village on the Isle of Wight. Set in over 3 acres of landscaped gardens up on the cliff, this family friendly Shanklin hotel benefits from glorious seaviews across the sweep of Sandown Bay.

Fabulous country and coastal walks are easily accessible from one of the best located hotels on the Isle of Wight. The many wonderful attractions across the Island are all within a reasonable drive away, making Luccombe Hall Country House Hotel an ideal base for your family holiday on the Isle of Wight.

Many of our 29 bedrooms are suitable for families with our largest room able to accommodate up to 6 people. We have a range of different room types to suit all budgets and tastes. All rooms are en-suite and tastefully furnished with modern amenities such as tea and coffee making facilities, colour televisions and direct dial telephones. Seafacing rooms benefit from a beautiful view across Sandown Bay. Superior Seafacing rooms have wider views across the bay, DVD players, bathrobes and spa baths. Our two Executive Seafacing Rooms have the best views in the hotel, king size four poster beds, DVD players, Spa baths, bathrobes, fruit bowl, mini fridge and private balcony. For infants, we have cots available to hire. Our baby listening facility allows you to relax in the bar and restaurant, while being able to listen in if your little ones should wake up.

The Grand View Restaurant offers a high level of customer service and stylish surroundings with lovely views out across the gardens towards the sea. There are various options for breakfast including Full English and Continental. Childrens Teas (please order with reception each morning), served from 5.30pm - 6pm are ideal for if you wish your children to dine early. Normal dinner service is from 6.30-8pm when children are more than welcome to dine with their parents. The Childrens Tea menu is available although children are more than welcome to have smaller portions from the adult menu if they prefer.

There is never a dull moment at Luccombe Hall, with plenty of activities to choose from, whatever your age. When the weather is warm and sunny, you can relax outside in the gardens or soak up the rays from our sundeck with its beautiful views across the bay. The outside pool is great to splash about in and there is also a childrens play area with swings and trampoline etc. Older members of the family might like to try their hand at outside chess or draughts or maybe a few rounds on the putting green. Sandwiches, snacks and traditional cream teas are available from our tea gardens that are open throughout the summer season. Steps lead down from the gardens to the beach below.

There is plenty to do inside too. Our games room benefits from a pool table and table tennis and a selection of childrens games. We are also the only hotel on the Island to have our own squash court. The small gym area is great for a cardio work out to combat the usual holiday excesses. If you are after something more relaxing, we have a sauna, indoor hot-tub and lovely warm indoor swimming pool.
